My Unknown Friend

 Part 4 :

His father hitted him like a punching bag. He thought that his mother would come to apply ointment on his wounds as always but no one came. 

Next day, his father sent him to a hostel five miles away from his house. He lost trust in humanity and friendship. 

First 2 to 3 days in his hostel were not easy to spend there. On the fourth day, he being sad as always , was sitting alone. Dusk came and he stood up to reach his room. 

He saw a girl sitting sitting on a bench, alone, her toy fall on the ground and she was unable to pick it up. He went nearer to her and said," wait let me help you ". He gave her the toy and she smiled after having her old torn out doll. He sat beside her and asked," what are you doing here,in a boy's hostel ?" She replied," You see my mother is a sweeper here and I am a handicapped so I also come with her". He asked, " but I hadn't seen you since I came ". She replied, " I was not coming since three to four days as my mother was ill ." 

Suddenly her mother came and took her. Next day he kept waiting for her without any reason. After sometime he heard some of the workers talking about her mother and saying that last night her mother died leaving the child alone.

As soon as he heard all of there conversation he took the address from one of the sweeper and asked him to take him to her house. He saw that girl sitting alone watching at the window. 

Don't know why watching tears in her eyes he also felt pain in his heart. He just took her and called his father and promised to never ever do what so ever he did before. His father accepted that small girl with him, it wasn't a big task for him to give shelter to a small child. 

Lastly he thought in his heart                               " Don't know what is my relation.                 with you but ....                                               I know that you are not unknown             to me. " 

Maybe God gave him a reason to live ..

The abyss of this eternally enough night, Where the world swallowed an impenetrable void. Neither the sign of sun nor the spark of moon’s light Just the air humming in whispered dread and sinister glow of corpse-light .
